This workshop is for anyone in a caretaking role. We'll explore ways to keep yourself emotionally healthy in trying situations.
Many of us—because of the pandemic—have been placed in a caretaking role for family members struggling with the after effects of COVID-19. For instance, you may find yourself bathing and grooming someone you love. Perhaps you’re helping with shopping, food preparation, and other errands. And for those who are professional caregivers, you’ve experienced unprecedented demand and risk. Commonly, when we're asked to take care of someone else, our care for ourselves goes out the window. We want to share some ways for you to take care of yourself emotionally in these difficult times.
